Organized by Carolina baseball player and cancer survivor Chase Jones, the Diamond Heels encourage the community to join in the 2011 UNC BaseBald for the Cure to raise $10,000 for pediatric oncology.
For every $100 donated to UNC Lineberger for this event, one Tar Heel baseball player will shave his head on Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium following the April 2 game. The game against Clemson will begin at 2 p.m.
You can participate! Simply register and with $100 raised you or someone of your choosing can join the Diamond Heels on the field.
