Under the umbrella of the Office for Undergraduate Research (OUR), the Carolina Research Scholar Program (CRSP) aims to build an undergraduate community based on research, scholarship and inquiry-driven learning. Students can register for CRSP at ANY time while at Carolina by going to the registration page and logging in with their onyen. The Graduate Student Mentor Award (GSMA) was established to recognize and encourage mentoring of undergraduates by graduate students. This award is open to enrolled graduate students in all areas of study. Graduate students who believe that they exemplify mentorship of undergraduates are encouraged to complete an online application consisting of (i) brief summary (3000 characters) of the undergraduate accomplishments and (ii) brief reflective statement (3000 characters) about the overall mentoring experience.
