Carolina students are invited to celebrate the installation of Chancellor Carol Folt with free food, games and entertainment from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 13) in the Pit.

Folt Fest, a student-only event, provides a chance to meet Folt in a fun and relaxed environment. The free event will feature carnival-style food, games and entertainment. Students must bring their UNC One Card to attend.

Folt Fest will include carnival food favorites, such as caramel apples, cotton candy, corn dogs, soft pretzels, nachos, sweet potato fries, doughnut burgers and pulled pork sliders. The games and activities include the scramble slide, a dunk tank, a photo booth and more. Music will be provided by Clockwork Kids, Morning Brigade and DJ A-Minor.

All attendees will be automatically entered into a drawing for two lower-level tickets to CUAB’s 2013 Homecoming Concert, featuring Wale and Ace Hood. You must be present at the time of the drawing to win.

Folt Fest is presented by Order of the Bell Tower, Carolina Union Activities Board, the Executive Branch of Student Government and the UNC Student Alumni Association.
