UNC-Chapel Hill faculty and staff can take advantage of a one-day BOGO sale in conjunction with the Carolina Performing Arts commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the premiere of Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring.

The season will re-imagine, re-interpret and explore the lasting impact of the historic piece.

To encourage faculty and staff to be a part of the 2012-13 season, Carolina Performing Arts is holding a one-day BOGO sale for University faculty and staff on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012.

• Date: Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012
• Time: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Where: Memorial Hall Box Office (in person or by phone – (919)843.3333)
• What: Buy one ticket and receive a second ticket for same performance free.

The first 50 faculty/staff to purchase tickets will receive two free tickets to the October 11 world premiere of Maya Beiser and Robert Woodruff’s CelloOpera Elsewhere.

The sale is only available for walk up and telephone sales and not available online. A valid UNC OneCard is required for purchase.

The first ticket will be discounted 15 percent at the standard faculty/staff rate, and the complimentary second ticket must be for the same performance. The offer includes all Carolina Performing Arts performances and is based on availability.
